Jeremy Basloe

Founder, Managing Partner

Jeremy Basloe is Founder and Managing Partner for CIP. He is responsible for CIP's multifamily strategy, overseeing all multifamily activities including acquisitions, investment management, operations, asset management and construction management. He has 15+ years of experience in the multifamily sector across a variety of functional areas spanning multiple geographies, specifically Texas. Since 2011, he has been involved in over $1.5 billion in transaction activity and has asset managed over 7,000 multifamily units. He has experience with core, core-plus, value-add and distressed real estate, in addition to sub-debt origination. He was a key contributor to re-entering Texas for one of the nation's largest owners, sourcing, capitalizing and growing the multifamily portfolio for a prominent GP operator and establishing the operations for an overseas investor in Europe. He has held key roles at The Kor Group (Principal), Equity Residential (VP), and Rialto Capital. He received his MBA from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain, and his BBA from CUNY Baruch College in NYC. He is based in Dallas, TX.

Nicholas Koutani

Senior Associate, Investments

Nicholas Koutani is a Senior Associate on the Investments team at CIP, where he supports CIP's efforts across acquisitions, asset management, and investment management. He most recently served as a Development Associate at Dominium, a leading owner, developer, and operator of affordable housing. His role focused on underwriting, capital markets, and supporting projects through the entitlement and construction process for LIHTC and multifamily projects. Since 2022, he has been involved in over $600 million in multifamily development, acquisitions, and refinancing activity and played a key role in the acquisition and development of over 750 multifamily units and a pipeline totaling 1,250 units. Nicholas began his career as a Capital Markets Intern at JLL. He received his BBA in Finance and Certificate in Commercial Real Estate from the University of Houston. He is based in Dallas, TX.

Seldin Korkutovic

Investment Analyst

Seldin Korkutovic is an Investment Analyst at CIP, where he supports the firm’s efforts across acquisitions, asset management, and investment management. In this role, he is involved in underwriting multifamily investments, conducting market research, and collaborating with asset management to evaluate property performance and support value-add initiatives across the portfolio. He previously served as an Investment Analyst at S2 Capital, where he focused on financial analysis and underwriting of multifamily acquisitions and worked closely with asset management teams to drive operational and investment strategies. Earlier in his career, Seldin was a Financial Analyst Intern at Fort Capital, a commercial real estate private equity firm focused on Class B industrial assets, where he supported investment analysis and contributed to a platform with over $2 billion in assets under management. Seldin received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas Christian University’s Neeley School of Business. He is based in Dallas, TX

Kyle Shaw

Vice President, Asset Management

Kyle Shaw is Vice President of Asset Management at CIP, where he leads a portfolio of multifamily, affordable and student housing and oversees portfolio operations, capital projects, business plan execution, and investment performance. He is responsible for strategic asset oversight, capital allocation, and driving optimal performance. Kyle brings over 20 years of experience in finance and multifamily real estate across acquisitions, development, and operations. He has a proven track record of driving NOI growth and value creation, having managed more than 20,000 units and executed core-plus and value-add strategies through disciplined, data-driven asset management. Prior to joining CIP, he was VP of Asset Management at The Milestone Group, and held asset management roles at Venterra Realty, Elite Street Capital, and The Dinerstein Company. He holds a BBA in Finance and Marketing, with a concentration in Accounting, from Baylor University and is based in Dallas, Texas.

Tom Ciesla

Senior Associate, Asset Management

Tom Ciesla is a Senior Associate on the Asset Management team at CIP, where he leads a portfolio of multifamily and affordable housing and supports investment management initiatives and platform-wide operational execution. Previously, he was an Asset Management Associate at Bellwether Asset Management, a Los Angeles-based institutional advisory firm, where he worked across complex portfolios spanning the full capital stack, including high-yield mezzanine, preferred equity, structured credit, ground-up development, value-add, and distressed investments on behalf of leading global investment managers. His responsibilities included underwriting, portfolio analytics, investor reporting, and developing scalable operating infrastructure to support large, sophisticated mandates. Tom began his career at Mid-America Asset Management, where he developed a foundation in leasing, asset-level operations, and financial analysis across commercial real estate. He holds a BA in Political Science from Dartmouth College and is based in Dallas, Texas.

Construction Management Partner

Alpine Start Construction (ASC) is a strategic partner to CIP as a Construction Management resource overseeing all construction and development management for CIP. The ASC team is fully integrated with in-house project planning, design, development and construction, providing decision-making at every phase during the construction stages. ASC team is an affiliate of Alpine Start Development, which has developed over 1000 multifamily units across Texas. ASC provides a level of expertise and consistency unmatched in the industry, giving ASC's unique hands on approach and depth of expertise in the multifamily construction industry. ASC is led by Jacobe Chandler, who serves as the Chief Construction Officer for Alpine Start Development, bringing more than 15 years of construction experience. Prior to joining Alpine Start Development, Jacobe worked for OHT Partners as a Project Executive and The Hanover Company as a Construction Manager, where he provided leadership on construction of more than 10,000 multifamily units.
