Jeremy Basloe
Founder, Managing Partner
Jeremy Basloe is Founder and Managing Partner for CIP. He is responsible for CIP's multifamily strategy, overseeing all multifamily activities including acquisitions, investment management, operations, asset management and construction management. He has 15+ years of experience in the multifamily sector across a variety of functional areas spanning multiple geographies, specifically Texas. Since 2011, he has been involved in over $1.5 billion in transaction activity and has asset managed over 7,000 multifamily units. He has experience with core, core-plus, value-add and distressed real estate, in addition to sub-debt origination. He was a key contributor to re-entering Texas for one of the nation's largest owners, sourcing, capitalizing and growing the multifamily portfolio for a prominent GP operator and establishing the operations for an overseas investor in Europe. He has held key roles at The Kor Group (Principal), Equity Residential (VP), and Rialto Capital. He received his MBA from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain, and his BBA from CUNY Baruch College in NYC. He is based in Dallas, TX.
Austin Meadows
Senior Vice President, Investments
Austin Meadows is Senior Vice President for CIP, where he spearheads all CIP efforts for acquisitions, asset management and investment management. With over 7 years of experience in the multifamily sector, he specializes in investments across major Sunbelt markets. Since 2018, he has been involved in over $900 million in total acquisition, development, and lending activity. He most recently served as Vice President at a prominent Texas-based multifamily owner and developer, focusing on investment management, capital markets, and asset management. During his time there, he played a key role in the acquisition and development of over 1,500 multifamily units. Austin has also held key roles at Kalterra Capital Partners, Bay Mountain Capital, and Triple Crown Investments. He earned his BS in Finance with a Real Estate emphasis from Texas Christian University. He is based in Dallas, TX.
Brett Richards
Strategic Advisor
Brett Richards is a Strategic Advisor for CIP, where he has been instrumental in the creation of CIP's investment and asset management platform. Brett brings 20 years of experience working across multiple segments and markets within the multifamily industry. He has led in the completion of $17+ billion in individual multifamily transactions and asset management oversight of more than 120,000 units across the nation. Prior to joining CIP, he held leadership roles at Carroll Organization as Chief Investment Officer, LivCor LLC as Senior Vice President of Transactions and Equity Residential as Vice President of Investments. Brett is a graduate of Florida State University where he received a BS in Real Estate. He is also an active member of the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC) and a former board member of NMHC Emerging Leaders. Brett is based in Atlanta, GA.
Nick Koutani
Senior Associate, Investments
Nick Koutani is a Senior Associate on the Investments team at CIP, where he supports CIP's efforts across acquisitions, asset management, and investment management. He most recently served as a Development Associate at Dominium, a leading owner, developer, and operator of affordable housing. His role focused on underwriting, capital markets, and supporting projects through the entitlement and construction process for LIHTC and multifamily projects. Since 2022, he has been involved in over $600 million in multifamily development, acquisitions, and refinancing activity and played a key role in the acquisition and development of over 750 multifamily units and a pipeline totaling 1,250 units. Nick began his career as a Capital Markets Intern at JLL. He received his BBA in Finance and Certificate in Commercial Real Estate from the University of Houston. He is based in Dallas, TX.
Dan Kurp
Senior Associate, Asset Management
Dan Kurp is Senior Associate of Asset Management for CIP, responsible for all facets of asset performance and optimization. He most recently served as Asset Manager at a prominent Texas-based private equity real estate investment firm specialized in the acquisition and redevelopment of institutional quality multifamily real estate. During his tenure, Daniel played a key role in the business plan execution across multiple assets and portfolios totaling over 6,000 units. Daniel began his career in real estate within accounting and finance and ultimately transitioned into the asset management space. He earned his MBA and BSBA in Finance with a specialization in real estate at Bloomsburg University. He is based in Dallas, TX.

Construction Management Partner
Alpine Start Construction (ASC) is a strategic partner to CIP as a Construction Management resource overseeing all construction and development management for CIP. The ASC team is fully integrated with in-house project planning, design, development and construction, providing decision-making at every phase during the construction stages. ASC team is an affiliate of Alpine Start Development, which has developed over 1000 multifamily units across Texas. ASC provides a level of expertise and consistency unmatched in the industry, giving ASC's unique hands on approach and depth of expertise in the multifamily construction industry. ASC is led by Jacobe Chandler, who serves as the Chief Construction Officer for Alpine Start Development, bringing more than 15 years of construction experience. Prior to joining Alpine Start Development, Jacobe worked for OHT Partners as a Project Executive and The Hanover Company as a Construction Manager, where he provided leadership on construction of more than 10,000 multifamily units. With an experienced team of finance, investment and acquisition members, APRE provides CIP with the ability to underwrite over 700 deals a year. APRE has consulted for Fortune 500 companies and is experienced in all facets of the acquisition process. APRE is run by Andy Golubitsky, who has over 15 years of real estate experience and is a principal and co-founder of Astral, a fully integrated real estate development firm. Andy previously held positions at Macklowe Properties and Douglaston Development, where he developed several residential, retail, and hotel properties.
