Dani Evanson
Managing Partner
Dani Evanson is Managing Partner for CIP. She is responsible for CIP's strategic direction and operational infrastructure, overseeing all multifamily activities including portfolio strategy, capital markets, asset management, and platform scaling. She has 30+ years of experience in the real estate and finance sectors across a variety of functional areas, specializing in complex property investment and affordable housing structures. She has been involved in managing and investing a real estate portfolio valued at over $1.5 billion, comprising commercial properties, investment funds, joint ventures, and operating companies. She has extensive experience with joint venture partnerships, fund formation, risk management, and tax-exempt bond financing. She has held key roles at Align Finance Partners (Co-Founder and Principal), where she was part of a team that financed over $7 billion of affordable housing and invested in over 25,000 units across the United States, with deep expertise in tax-exempt bond financing. She has also held key roles at Regis Metro Associates (Managing Director) and a prominent Los Angeles-based family office (Real Estate Director). She has been a key contributor to setting strategic direction and originating investments for real estate firms, has served as an integral member of institutional investment committees, and has held advisory board seats for multiple external real estate investment funds. She is a licensed California real estate broker, a Certified Public Accountant (inactive), and a Certified Management Accountant (inactive). She is a member of the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO) and serves as a Board Member for Mark IV Capital and an officer of Step Up Housing. She is based in Los Angeles, CA.
